In case the user may want to change the ID of a record, the following steps can be followed. This function gives user more flexibility and control to the record.

1. Click the Record Information Button on the form of a record.
   
2. Click the Update record ID button on the Record Information Dialog
   
   
3. Put the new Record ID into the input text box and click Update button
